Specifically, some of the health benefits that have been linked to the use of probiotics include:
- Increased absorption of vitamins and minerals, like calcium
- Increased digestion of food
- Decrease in growth of harmful bacteria that cause problems
- Enhanced metabolism, which can affect weight loss
- Immune system stimulation
- Decrease in inflammation
There is a lot of evidence out their suggesting that probiotics need to be a part of our regular diets.
